Control boards
Control boards
A control board drives a display from a standard host interface, so you can run a panel without designing the timing and driver electronics yourself. It is the board you can keep in a product, not just on the bench — sized, powered, and connectorized to sit behind a panel in the enclosure and hand the host a straightforward interface on the other side.

Control board specifications
The interfaces a control board hands the host, and the catalog-adjacent embedded-control platforms it draws on. For a dedicated board matched to your panel, start a custom project.
- Host-side interfaces: parallel (8080/6800), UART/RS232, SPI, RGB, LVDS, and HDMI
- Fit with the display range: matched to panels across the TFT, LCD, and embedded-module catalogs, so a single control-board choice can serve a family of sizes rather than one SKU
- Part families: ACN (Command System, parallel), AGN (GUS System, UART)
- Command System (ACN-series): Embedded TFT Full Control Platform — 3.5″/320×240, 4.3″/480×272, 7″/800×480, MCU or RGB 24-bit interface, resistive touch
- GUS System (AGN-series): UART embedded displays, 3.5″–7″, 320×240–800×480
- Typical applications: running a display in a product from a standard interface, driving larger or higher-resolution panels than an MCU can time on its own, and HMI and kiosk builds
Where it fits
How it differs: where a demo / eval board is for bench evaluation, a control board is production driver hardware you keep in the product. Pair it with connectors and cables and a PCB for your build. For a panel that already carries its own controller and driver on the module itself, see embedded TFT modules in the TFT pillar.
The closest published control hardware today is the ACN-series Command System and the AGN-series GUS System embedded-control platforms; a dedicated stand-alone control-board line is matched to your panel as a custom build.
