Custom LED Backlight Options
Orient Display's LED backlight modules let you pick the exact color and mounting style your display needs — without redesigning your PCB. Available today across the JAZZ graphic-LCD family, with custom color and assembly combinations on request for other display lines.
Swap the backlight, not the board
Every JAZZ graphic LCD module ships with an LED backlight frame that snaps directly onto the glass and secures the display — no adhesive, no rework. Because the frame is a discrete part, you can choose a backlight color independently of the LCD mode, then change it later without touching your board layout.
Two assembly styles are in production today: a wired-type snap-in frame for the larger JAZZ-A (2.7″) module, and a compact pin-type frame for the smaller JAZZ-B (1.0″) module.
