Certifications & quality

This page is the single authoritative list of the certifications and quality systems behind every Orient Display custom program, kept current. We manufacture custom displays under the management-system certifications below, alongside RoHS, REACH and UL compliance as a baseline. Each certificate is issued to the specific manufacturing site that builds your product, so rather than post a static set we send the current certificate — its scope and validity — to your supplier-qualification team on request. You receive a live, correct document for the site building your program, current as of the day you ask.

Why certificates are provided on request

An accredited certificate is tied to the specific manufacturing site that holds it. Rather than publish a fixed set that can go stale or point at the wrong site for your program, we send the current certificate, its scope and validity, straight to your supplier-qualification team on request — so you get the right document for the site building your product, current as of the day you ask. This is a deliberate choice, not a gap.

Certifications we hold

Quality management systems

The quality management certifications Orient Display operates under across its manufacturing. Each is live and current; the certificate for the site building your product is sent on request.

ISO 9001

The core quality management system standard, governing process control, corrective action, and continuous improvement across all manufacturing.

Certificate and scope provided on request.

IATF 16949

The automotive quality management standard, held across three automotive manufacturing plants — the certification automotive supply chains require. Supersedes the withdrawn ISO/TS 16949.

Per-plant certificate and scope provided on request.

ISO 13485

Medical device quality management, governing document control, traceability, and change management for displays used in medical equipment.

Certificate and scope provided on request.

IECQ QC 080000

Hazardous substance process management, governing restricted-substance control through the manufacturing supply chain.

Certificate and scope provided on request.

Certifications we hold

Environmental, safety & sustainability

How Orient Display manages environmental impact, workplace safety, and sustainable operations — independently certified and rated.

ISO 14001

Environmental management system, governing environmental impact, waste, and resource use across operations.

Certificate and scope provided on request.

ISO 45001

Occupational health and safety management, for a controlled and safe manufacturing environment.

Certificate and scope provided on request.

EcoVadis

Independent sustainability rating covering environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.

Scorecard provided on request.

A rating and a declaration are not the same as a certificate. EcoVadis is a rating, RoHS and REACH are declarations, and UL is a product listing. None is an accredited management-system certificate, so none is presented as one — each is shown for what it is, so a supplier-qualification team knows exactly what it is looking at.

Certifications we hold

Product & material compliance

The material and product-safety compliance carried as a baseline on Orient Display displays and components, so it is not a separate qualification step.

RoHS

Restriction of Hazardous Substances compliance for materials used in our displays and components.

Part-level declaration provided on request.

REACH

EU chemical registration and restriction compliance across materials and substances in the supply chain.

Part-level declaration provided on request.

UL listing

UL safety listing for applicable components and assemblies.

Supporting documentation provided on request.

What this means for your program

The certifications that matter to your industry

Two of our certifications are the ones specific industries qualify their display suppliers against. The rest apply across every program we build.

Automotive — IATF 16949

Orient Display holds IATF 16949 across three automotive manufacturing plants. It is the quality standard automotive OEM supply chains require of a display supplier, and most small competitors do not hold it. In practice it means APQP, PPAP, FMEA and MSA are already how we work — not something we would stand up for your program.

Medical devices — ISO 13485

Orient Display operates an ISO 13485 medical device quality management system — the table-stakes medical QMS certification for display work. Device-program standards such as IEC 60601-1 and DICOM are qualified per program and are not represented as met until documented for the specific module; holding ISO 13485 is the quality-system foundation, not a claim of medical-grade device certification.

Every program

ISO 9001 and IECQ QC 080000 govern process control and restricted-substance management on every custom build, whatever the industry.

Material compliance

RoHS, REACH, and UL listing are carried as a baseline, so material and safety compliance is not a separate qualification step.

Responsible operations

ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and an EcoVadis rating cover the environmental, safety, and sustainability criteria enterprise procurement teams increasingly require.

Request certification documents

Current copies of any certificate above — for your qualification file, supplier onboarding, or audit — are available on request. Tell us which standards your program requires and we will send the current certificates for the site building your product. For a specific part number, we will issue a part-level substance declaration.

Common questions

Certification FAQ

Are your certifications current?

Yes. When you request a certificate we send the copy that is current as of that date, re-pulled after the site's most recent surveillance audit — so you receive a live certificate with its own scope and validity, not a snapshot that may have lapsed. That is exactly why the certificates are furnished on request rather than parked as a static download.

Do you hold IATF 16949 for automotive programs?

Yes. Orient Display holds IATF 16949 across three automotive manufacturing plants — the current automotive quality standard, which supersedes the withdrawn ISO/TS 16949. We provide the certificate for the plant building your product on request.

Do you hold ISO 13485 for medical work?

Yes, for the quality management system, and we provide the certificate on request. Device-level, medical-grade standards such as IEC 60601-1 and DICOM are qualified per program and are not represented as met until documented for the specific module.

Can you supply RoHS, REACH, and material compliance documentation?

Yes. RoHS and REACH compliance and UL listing are carried as a baseline, and part-level substance declarations are issued on request against a specific part number. Tell us the part and the standard and our team sends the current documentation.

How do I get a copy of a certificate for supplier onboarding?

Tell us which standards your program requires and our team sends the current certificates for the site building your product — typically same or next business day. If your onboarding portal needs something specific — a completed questionnaire, a particular scope statement, an audit slot — name it and we will provide it.

Which legal entity holds the certificates, and how do I avoid a name mismatch at qualification?

Each management-system certificate is issued to the specific manufacturing site that builds the product, which is why we furnish the certificate for the site building your product rather than one downloadable set. Orient Display (USA) Corporation is your contracting and accountable party in North America and provides those certificates during qualification. If your process needs the entity name on the certificate to reconcile against your PO or contract, tell your OD contact and we will map it for you up front.
